In this course we’ll go through the process of animating a cutout character in Toon Boom Harmony, covering the basics of manipulating rigs, animation principles and techniques for cutout and good practices when working in a production.

The course is aimed at artists who want to get into the cutout animation industry. So if you’re a frame-by-frame animator transitioning into cutout, a student seeking to learn more about production process or a beginner looking to improve their skills and step up as an animation professional, this course is for you!

Previous contact with the essentials of Harmony is recommended. We’ll cover some basics in the course but we will focus on the tools used specifically for the animation process, so it might not be a proper introduction if you have never used the software before.

It is also highly recommended that the student has access to Harmony Premium to be able to practice and do the exercises. Any student who joins the course can get an official 1-month licence with 65% discount.
